Believe me, this is not the same old information and tactics you’ve heard before. This isn’t about taking any prescribed series of steps or white knuckling your way through withdrawals.  This is real, science-based information on how alcohol changes your body and your mind.  This is about understanding how your thinking changes when you drink alcohol. And it’s  understanding the physical, mental, and emotional reasons that you’ve found it difficult to  cut back.

We have been where you are now – we know and understand the frustration and confusion that comes with feeling like you aren’t fully in control of your drinking. And we know how to help you change your thinking about alcohol so you can easily decide how much you want to drink (or not to drink at all) and stick to it.

Addictions Coaching

There is currently a treatment gap in our healthcare system, where those who need help with addictive behaviours (alcohol, vaping, disordered eating, sugar, drugs, gaming, sex, exercise etc) are unable to access services for a variety of reasons.

As a certified Health/Mental Health Coach who specialises in Mental Fitness & Addictions, I help bridge this gap by working with clients who are currently leaning on addictive behaviours as a way of coping with challenges in life. Using Coaching techniques and the latest scientific evidence related to lifestyle medicine (nutrition, sleep, movement, breathing, connection, gratitude and mindfulness) as well as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) we can address these behaviours early on, and support clients to make sustainable lifestyle changes when they are ready. 

With 20+ years experience in the Healthcare system, I can also help you navigate the process, and help find extra resources and more support where needed.

This experiment was surprisingly easy. I thought I would miss drinking hugely and really struggle but I found the opposite as time went on. It was like waking up to how much wine had robbed me of being present. The science helped greatly in the AEP app. I will still have the occasional drink but it is now easy to make the choice.
